Welcome Students and Parents!
The position of Career Coach is new to DeSoto County Schools. The mission of each career coach is to prepare, expose and connect students to opportunities within each school and beyond. Preparing students for their future by exposing them to new career opportunities happens through field trips, guest speakers and campus tours. Then we connect students with internships, field trips and one-on-one conversations with professionals.

Personal Info:
I have a background in economic development, business development and nonprofit management. I spent close to two years working as a grant writer for the First Tennessee Development District in Johnson City, TN. Before moving to Tennessee, I served as the Executive Director for the Horn Lake Chamber of Commerce for five years. I am married, have a daughter, and two rescue dogs.
