School Profile

Center Hill High School, is located in the growing suburb of Olive Branch, MS. Opened in 2006 as a combination middle/high school, Center Hill has grown from a small school comprised of sixth through tenth graders to a large school serving over 1,000 students grades nine through twelve. Starting with the first graduating class in 2009, Center Hill students have earned millions of dollars in scholarships. We currently have alumni enrolled in every public university in Mississippi as well as many prestigious universities across the country including Central Florida, Rhodes College, Vanderbilt, and Washington University. Additionally, we have alumni at West Point and the Naval Academy. Throughout the years, Center Hill has received many awards for their commitment to excellence. Named one of the best high schools in the nation by US News, CHHS was also named a STAR school and an A+ school by the Mississippi Department of Education each year since 2009.

  • Center Hill High School is a college- preparatory school serving grades 9 through 12.

  • A Preliminary Scholastic Assessment Test (PSAT) preparatory class is offered to sophomores and juniors, as well as an ACT preparatory class.

  • Athletics and Activities: archery (boys/girls), band, baseball, basketball (boys/girls), color guard, cheerleading, cross country (boys/girls), dance, football, golf (boys/girls), soccer (boys/girls), softball, swim (boys/girls), tennis (boys/girls), track and field (boys/girls), and volleyball.

Brief Description of Directions

From Highway 72

Take the Highway 302 Exit towards Olive Branch continue until you pass the DeSoto County line.  The next traffic light is at Center Hill Road take a right going north.  You will go to the traffic light at DeSoto Road and take a left.  DeSoto turns into Mustang drive which leads you to the 4-way stop in front of CHHS.  The Gym is located at the back of the school and is accessible from the student parking lot on the west side of the building. Football teams and bands should park in the drive between the school and the football stadium. Visitor parking for football games is located on the North end of the stadium.

From Highway 78

Take the Bethel Road/Hackscross Road Exit.  Go north toward Goodman Road which is the 2nd traffic light. Take a right onto Goodman Road/Highway 302.  Go one block about 1/2 mile and turn left onto Polk Lane.  Go 1.5 miles on Polk Lane and turn right onto Kirk Road. Follow Kirk Road for 1 mile to the 4 way stop.  You will be in front of the school. The Gym is located at the back of the school and is accessible from the student parking lot on the west side of the building. From Interstate 55

Take the Highway 302/Goodman Road Exit toward Olive Branch. Continue on Highway 302 passing Hackcross Road.  Go one block about 1/2 mile and turn left on Polk Lane.  Go 1.5 miles on Polk Lane and turn right onto Kirk Road. Follow Kirk Road for 1 mile to the 4 way stop.  You will be in front of the school. The Gym is located at the back of the school and is accessible from the student parking lot on the west side of the building.
