Melissa Brunetz

My name is Melissa Brunetz and I have 20 years of teaching experience. All of years of teaching have been in Desoto County in special education, specifically in a self-contained setting. I have taught all grade levels K-12. I taught for 13 years at Magnolia and worked with students with EMD, ASD, Intelluctal Disablities, and students with severe and profound disablities. I was at Horn Lake Middle School for 5 years where I taught middle and high school aged students with moderate to severe disablilities in a district wide self-contained classroom. I am starting my second year at Center HIll High School in the Community Based Classroom. I am also the Diamond Girl Sponsor for our Center Hill Baseball Team.

I am married to a wonderful man and have two terrific kids. My son is a junior at CHHS and my daughter is  an 8th grader at CHMS. I enjoy spending time with family and friends and watching my son play baseball.

I graduated from Germantown High School in Germantown, TN. I received my Bachelor's Degree at the University of Memphis

Certification(s): I have a Bachelor's Degree in Special Education K-12 Mild Moderate. I am also licensed to teach Elementary Education K-6.
