Experience:
I began my teaching career 9 years ago at Southaven Middle School as an 8th grade teacher. After 5 wonderful years there, I taught several years at Freedom Prep Academy Charter School, and now I am back to my roots in Desoto County where I am thrilled to be a Mustang!
Bio:
I was an educator from a small child and knew that it was my calling. I was tutoring my cousin in elementary school, teaching a Sunday School in high school, and then began my own family as a stay-at-home mom educating my own child until he entered pre-K. Becoming a formal educator was inevitable. I love everything education related and am currently pursuing an Ed.S in administration.
I have been married for 20 blessed years and have three beautiful children. I enjoy reading, boating, and relaxed weekends with my family playing Uno and JENGA!
And...just in case you're wondering how my first name is pronounced, it's (LEE see yah). ;-)
