I am proud to say I received my Bachelor of Arts in English Education from the University of Mississippi. While at Ole Miss, I was a part of the inaugural cohort of the Mississippi Excellence in Teaching Program. Through this program I gained early insight into a variety of teaching environments, strategies, and philosophies. I will forever be grateful to the many members of the Ole Miss family that allowed me to experience these aspects of teaching and learning!

As a student at Ole Miss, I got involved in the Ambassador program in the admissions department and had lots of fun touring potential students and families around campus. It was through this organization that I met my wonderful husband, Chaz. Chaz is originally from Hernando, so we were excited to come back to Desoto County after we got married. We have two sweet daughters, Addie (2 years) and Bayleigh (1 year).

On the weekends, you can find us at the movies or the theater. We love Broadway shows are are season ticket holders to the Orpheum. We are also members of Colonial Hills Church in Hernando. I have previously taught 6th and 8th grade ELA, and this will be my fifth year teaching 9th grade ELA at CHHS. I am thrilled to share this year with you!
