Bio

Hello and welcome to my page. I am very excited to work with you and your child on further his/her math comprehension, as well as become great young men/women.

I am originally from a small town outside of Birmingham, AL, called Odenville. I graduated from St. Clair County High School in 2011. While I was there I was a part of the Math Team, Beta Club (where I placed top 3 in the state convention's math competition twice), Football team, Baseball team, Soccer team, Wrestling team, and JROTC. From there, I spent one year at the University of South Alabama in Mobile. After that year, I joined active duty in the United States Air Force for 6 years which I achieved the rank of Staff Sergeant. Aside from a brief two week TDY in Wisconsin in 2016 and a deployment to Afghanistan in 2015, my entire career was spent at Eglin AFB, FL. While in the military, I never lost sight of how important education was and enrolled in the Broadcast & Operational Meteorology online program at Mississippi State University in 2014. When I got out of the Air Force in 2018, I had one year left until my college graduation. I graduated in May 2019 with a B.S. in Geosciences. During my senior year, I discovered that my love for math is what drove me through college and decided to share that love for math with the newer generation.

I currently live in Olive Branch with my 3 year old Boxador (Boxer/Lab mix) puppy, Thor. He was a rescue when I got him from the Oktibbeha County Humane Society shortly after graduation.

I look forward to working with you and your child. If you have any questions/concerns, feel free to click the contact button at the top of my page to send me an email.
