Bio

I grew up as a missionary kid in Madrid, Spain. Although I am American, my parents moved to Spain when I was 9 to work at an international Christian school, and I was there until I graduated from high school. Throughout high school I was heavily involved in soccer, NHS, student government, and my local youth group. After graduation, I attended college at Cornerstone University in Grand Rapids, Michigan, where I also played soccer and majored in Secondary English Education with a minor in Spanish in 2010. After finishing my time there, I spent 2 years working at an international Christian school in Turkey, teaching English, Spanish, and coaching soccer. While there, I met my wife-to-be (Katie -- also a teacher), and after moving back to the U.S., we were married in 2013. We spent the next 3 years working at another international Christian school in Seoul, S. Korea, and had our first son (Ethan) at the end of our time there. In the summer of 2016, we moved back to the U.S., and I have been working at Center Hill High School ever since.

It has been a pleasure and an honor working here, serving this community, and teaching your kids. Please know that I am here for you, and I am committed to doing everything in my power to help my students grow and succeed. If I can ever do anything for you, please do not hesitate to contact me.
